Howard and the White Boys

On July 11, 2000 Evidence Music released Live At Cord On Blues, Howard and the White Boys fourth CD and their Second for the label. The Chicago based band tours non-stop Across the United States and if famous for their electrifying Stage show that features music that is a hybrid of Chicago blues mixed with elements of rock and soul.

What started in 1998 as four college students from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, playing for fun and free beer, Twelve years later has become one of the country's busiest Blues bands.

Since the earlier years, Howard and the White Boys has opened for all the great ones; Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Albert King, Lonnie Brooks, Koko Taylor, Magic Slim, Otis Clay and Buddy Guy. Their home base has been Buddy Guy's Legends, where they began playing in 1990 and continue doing so today.
